2012’s Last Hurrah!

Have you ever given into clinginess?  Sometimes it’s a good thing to do so.

December 29, some TFG friends decided to meet up at the Ayala Triangle in Makati for the lights and sound display.  We officially called these meet-ups as HOHOL (hang-out, hang-out lang).  Then again, we made that up to fill the gap between F2Fs.  If I have not said it before, then let me say it now and you may quote me -we’re a clingy lot. (♥♥,)

Shreds of evidence of our clinginess are:
  •  Our willingness to brave the awful Christmas season traffic;
  •  We adapt, even when tired and sleep-deprived;
  • We are willing to wait for others to arrive, even if they are hours late;
  • We tweet, text, and send private messages to each other from across the table;
  • Our clinginess compels us to stay together until the wee hours of the morning, hopping from one store to another.
Please don’t take us the wrong way. The Filipino Group is a serious book club, we seriously discuss books, and we seriously wanted to cling to each other for a long long time. (✿◠‿◠)

A Blessed New Year everyone!

  2. Oh, looks like a fun night! I haven't even seen the light and sound show at the Ayala Triangle. Even though I worked in Makati for more than 10 years! Right now though, as my office in QC, just the thought of going to Makati on a weeknight (and during December) is already stressful!

    1. It was fun! We were kids enjoying the lights for a night.
      I guess that and the company made up for the traffic, and the wait for our seats at Banapple. :)

    If that clinginess wasn't enough, there was an impromptu sleepover at home as soon as we all went our separate ways. Can't wait to see you again :)

  4. Clingy! Clingy!

    How come clinginess is so positive with our group? I usually find it negative in relationships. but not with us. :) see you in F2F13!

  5. LOL. Maybe because we're not the choking-kind of clingy. We don't try to change anyone, we simply accept people as they come. ❤
